Our commitment

We believe that equal access to health information online is essential. In developing and maintaining this website, reasonable efforts have been made to support accessibility for people with disabilities, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice recognition software, and alternative input devices.

Our goal is to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, as well as relevant provisions under Title III of the ADA and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act where applicable to public-facing digital content. Conformance is an ongoing process, not a one-time checklist.

Measures we take

Accessibility is considered throughout the design, build, and review of this site. Efforts include, where feasible:

• Semantic HTML structure and logical heading hierarchy to support navigation with assistive technology
• Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
• Visible keyboard focus indicators and keyboard-operable navigation for primary site functions
• Text alternatives for meaningful images and appropriate labeling for forms and controls
• Responsive layouts intended to remain usable across common screen sizes and zoom levels
• Captions or alternatives for video content where video is published on the site
• Periodic review of pages, templates, and interactive components as content is added or updated

We continue to evaluate new content, third-party embeds, and design updates against these principles and to remediate barriers when they are identified.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas of the site may not yet fully meet every WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion. Legacy documents, linked external resources, PDFs, and content supplied by third parties may present barriers we do not fully control. We welcome feedback so we can prioritize improvements.

This website was designed, developed, and is maintained by an independent web services provider on behalf of The Plastic Surgery Group of Rochester. The practice did not build or program the site internally. Questions about technical implementation, code-level accessibility, or platform behavior should be directed through the accessibility contact below rather than to clinical office staff.

Third-party content

This site may link to or embed content from other organizations (for example, mapping services, payment portals, or patient portals). Those providers maintain their own accessibility statements and support channels. We encourage vendors we rely on to meet accessible design standards, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of every external system.

Assistive technology compatibility

We aim for compatibility with commonly used browsers and assistive technologies on current versions of major desktop and mobile operating systems. Because user environments vary widely, we cannot test every combination of device, browser, and assistive software. If you encounter difficulty in your specific setup, please describe your environment when you contact us.

Feedback and accessibility contact

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this website, or if you believe any content is not accessible under the ADA or WCAG 2.2 AA, we want to hear from you. Please include the page URL, a description of the problem, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, if applicable.

To report an accessibility concern, call (603) 667-6511 and leave a detailed voicemail. Messages are reviewed for accessibility-related issues and routed for follow-up. Voicemail is the preferred channel for website accessibility feedback so concerns can be documented and addressed by the appropriate team.

We will make reasonable efforts to respond to accessibility feedback in a timely manner and to provide an alternative means of access where feasible while a permanent fix is under consideration.
