Rosco, a golden retriever service dog, looking up at the camera with snow on his fur

About Rosco

Meet this provider

Rosco is the service dog at The Plastic Surgery Group of Rochester and a much-loved member of our team.

Like the rest of us, Rosco has a job to do. He spends his days around the practice, joining the team as patients arrive, settling in during appointments, and offering his calm company to patients who would like him there. Over time, he has become part of the everyday rhythm of the office and someone both our staff and many of our patients look forward to seeing.

Rosco seems to have a knack for knowing when to quietly stay nearby and when someone might appreciate a friendly golden retriever at their side. You may find him making his rounds through the office, sitting beside a patient, visiting the front desk, or taking a well-earned break between appointments.

Of course, not everyone is a dog person, and that is completely fine. If you would prefer to have your visit without Rosco in the room, just let our front desk know when you schedule or check in.

Rosco takes his job seriously. Follow him through a day at the practice, from arriving at the office and making his rounds to spending time with patients, checking in with the team, and fitting in a few breaks along the way.

When you see Rosco

Rosco is a working service dog, so there may be times when he needs to stay focused on his job. If you would like to say hello or give him some attention, please check with a member of our team first. We are always happy to tell you more about Rosco and the role he has at the practice.
